Title: Barry Bonds
Post by: Benggal on August 08, 2007, 05:46:42 AM
As far as I'm concerned that cheating ass doesn't deserve the "HR King" title.

Another little part of the joy I had left for baseball died last night.

/agree with Brio

At least this record shouldn't stand too long.  A-Rod, as much as I can't stand him, is a decent player (and looks to be juice-free).  He should break that record no problem.  He's already the youngest to hit the 500 mark.

Thought to ponder... Willie Mays is Barry Bonds' godfather.  The man who is fourth in line of homers hit, Bonds, Aaron, Ruth, Mays... so why does he act proud?  But then again, we are possibly jumping to conclusions.  There has been no definitive proof of Bonds' involvement.  It is still "under investigation".  Though people are speculating that this is his last season.  His field work is sloppy, he's ancient in terms of players' age, he asks too much money.  But it definitely feels that his record will always be tainted.

A-Rod and Pujols should be able to give Bonds a run if they stay healthy throughout their careers.

LOL Notice I said "it was possible..." yet I continue to talk as if it's true... I don't believe he's clean.

In a criminal court, a person must be proved guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. This isn't criminal court.

A civil suit requires less to pronounce a person guilty. This isn't even at that level.

1. I've heard intervies of several people personally witness him shooting up.

2. I've watched the interviews with the doctor that mixed up exotic concoctions for Bonds that would not only give him an increased physical growth, but increased eye-hand coordination and endurance.

3. Personal experience with years of training, along with intimate knowledge of steroid benefits (never done 'em myself though), it is IMPOSSIBLE to naturally put on 35 pounds in under three months, whether you have a personal trainer, diet specialist, and lift weights 12 hours a day. I couldn't do it WITH steroids and all that other crap, and for a white guy I have pretty good genetics when it comes to muscle growth.

That's proof to me, not speculation, but PROOF. The simple fact is that baseball knew he was going to break the record and refused to taint the entire sport by singling out the future home run record holder. Just because they swept the information under the rug and buried their heads in the sand doesn't "make it possible" that he is innocent.
