For those who havn't seen all of the problems with 4.0, here's some heads up.
1. The Pre-Cataclysm storyline/questline wasn't initiated. (At least not yet)
2. Casters-all of your equipment that has spellpower as a socket bonus still read as spellpower instad of INT, so your overall spellpower will have dropped.
3. Socketed gems might have changed color and might have screwed up meta-gem requirements. Be on the lookout for that.
4. Consumables like flasks and stat food that raises stats that are no longer in game (like spellpower) have NOT been converted over. Save the Frostywyrm Flasks and Fish Feasts for now, or they'll just be wasted.
5. Take a look at your glyph window if you havn't already. Once a toon has all the glyphs of that class, they can change the glyphs without having to buy the same ones over again. There is a 'dust' that removes the glyph from it's slot if you want to replace it for something else. The Inscription vendors sell this 'dust' rather cheaply.
6. The water graphics are screwed up at the moment. The water is invisible except for broken up 'blocks' where the water level should be,
Please feel free to add to the list to keep people in the know as to what to look for. It's sad that Blizzard pushed this out in such a half-assed manner.
Patch 4.0.1 Known Issues (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=27188060299&sid=1)
Ran into that problem with gems, but it only effects gems that had stats that are gone... Had to replace 5 gems on stump as they were Def/Sta gems.
Changed all of them to dodge/sta gems which were different colors
So far it looks like tanking has not changed all that much.. Bul on the other hand, I'm going to have to relearn the new talents, and slot of them work differently with energy
Well, int gives us spellpower, now, so it is still a viable ingame stat to have. I'm pulling 8.7k dps on the lvl 83 training dummy unbuffed, so it is still adding damage to my spells.
I need to find out what the hit cap number is for warlocks. I know '17%' , but I need to know an actual number, not %.
Currently holding at 516 Hit. Made some changes on reforging (It's the archmage at city enchanters in case you missed it.)
In a patch this big, I'd be surprised if there WEREN'T a shitton of bugs even if it spent a few months on the PTR. 90% of the people who get on the PTR don't bug test. They just try out their character's abilities, bitch in trade chat, and log.
I'm pretty sure the gem stats changing was announced a while ago, though. It was either that or remove the gems completely that had stats that no longer existed.
I wasn't sure if the pre-cata questline would be available right away or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was supposed to be delayed a couple of weeks after the release of 4.0.1. In any case, we'll see it all very shortly.
All in all I'm just having fun now running around Azeroth and taming new pets. :D MC, here I come!

446 for locks, Zan.
446 is for level 80. I need to know what lvl 85 requires of locks.
Oh pfffff. Check out some beta forums then. And your gear is going to change COMPLETELY by the time you get to level 85 so I'm not sure what the point of changing things around for that now is.

Get to 468 for current raids. When the xpac comes out it will not matter anymore, as all of our gear will be replaced. Worry about hit when you get to 85 and have completed all the heroic dungeons (and have gotten what gear you need from them+craftables+faction items) on the way.
