1) There's a new version of Carbonite that works with 4.0.1
2) The pre-cata events have started in Org
:D
For those who entered the Public Test Realm for the pre-Cataclysm quest chain content, only half of the questline is there at this time. They might impliment it after the realm restarts, or it could very well be later in the week. In any case, just a heads up that this quest chain is not full active yet, so if it seems rather short, it gets longer. ;)

Cool. I'm going to jump on that this morning. :)
Assuming there is no maintenenance today, that is.
I haven't checked yet, as I just sat down with my coffee and came in here first.
As usual, their 15 minutes really equates to longer. "Each realm down for no more than 15 minutes" and Durotan has been down for a bit now.

Never mind the four stages of the event, Zan; someone (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=27509093985&sid=1&pageNo=2&sid=1#39) posted the four stages of QQ that will accompany the event:

Then there will also be four stages of QQ for the event.
First stage: QQ it is boring need more
Second Stage: QQ the elemental X is immune to one of my abilities and I don't want to use any other ability.
Third Stage: QQ the event is making it so I can't farm/grind/dual lowbies/etc.
Forth stage: QQ the event was too short obviously you caved in and ended a scripted event with a scripted start/end time early.
(Btw, I personally can't wait to see everything play out)
<sigh> I won't worry about any of it, atm. I'll just take it as it unfolds. Only one of three possibilities on this.
1)It's released as is, buggy as hell. Eventual completion.
2)Programmers work like hell to make it work as intended and it works, for the most part. Eventual completion.
3)Blizz changes alot of things at the last minute and it becomes a somewhat different experience than in PTR. Eventual completion.
All in all...........<shrug> I just don't care anymore.
4.0.3 broke Carbonite again, but they've got a beta version up that seems to work just fine.
