Title: Speed up wow
Post by: Osche on January 02, 2008, 05:53:49 PM
For some reason Blizzard can't explain, if you load Windows Media Player and minimize it before you load WoW, it loads a good bit faster, especially if you load into a heavily populated zone. Give it a try, I shaved a few seconds off my loading screens.

Does it help if the media player is blasting out some Molly Hatchet or Foghat?

You actually use your WMP as a music player? You're such a looser.

on the mac though you can control itunes with commands with the default settings.  It was introduced a long time ago in a patch.  I used it once but really I don't listen to music when I play.
