nope. I disabled the battlegrounds plug-in but the map was still there. I also found an alpha-map battleground plugin that I disabled and that took care of it. I can still open a map, but the one that was blocking my view is gone. Yay. Thanks for the suggestions.

Howdy y'all,
Recently, I've been going into BG's just to see what it's like. I don't really PvP that much, but thought I'd give it a try a few times. My problem is that map blocking 1/2 the screen that
I can't get rid of. It shows the BG and where everyone is ( on horde side ) and is very helpful .... except that I can't move it or close it. I have Cartographer but the only seting for a
map in there is in the top left corner to 'only show in BG, always show or never show' for the tiny, hard to see map that defaults into the bottom right corner. I can get rid of that one.
I can hit 'M' and the regular map opens and closes. There is no background on this map, so I am unable to find an edge to even start looking for an "X" . I can right click on the map to
get a list of options, but the word 'options' is not clickable, either before or after the battle starts. I can click some of the other words in the list, like INC, 2 at Farm. etc. I have tried
holding shift, ctrl, and alt with a mouse click, and with 'enter' and 'M' but nothing happens. ( No, I don't hold all 3 down at the same time. ) Ok, that's not true, I turn off the music or
open that tiny enreadable map in the bottom right corner, but the big map doesn't go away. No one in the BG wants to answer my pleas for help or doesn't have an answer. I took
some screenshots and uploaded to Flickr because I thought they would be too big to

Skinny little white guy goes into an elevator, looks up and sees this HUGE
black guy standing next to him.

A young woman wanting to earn some extra money decided to hire herself out as a "Handywoman" and started canvassing the neighborhoods around the better parts of town.
She went to the front door of a large house, knocked and asked the owner if he had any odd jobs for her to do.
"Well, I guess I could use somebody to paint my porch," he said. "How much will you charge me?"
The young woman quickly responded, "How about $50?"
The man agreed and told her that the paint and everything she would need was in the garage.
The man's wife, hearing the conversation, said to her husband, "Does she realize how big that porch is?"
"Well," he chuckled to himself, "a deal's a deal."
A short time later, the young woman came to the door to collect her money. "You finished already?" the husband asked.
"Yes," the woman replied, "and I had paint leftover, so I gave it two coats -- no extra charge."
Impressed, the man reached into his pocket for the $50 and handed it to her.
"And by the way," she added, "it's not a Porch -- it's a Lexus."

I hope by 'unlimited' that they mean more than several thousand uses before it needs repair. The ammo gets used fairly quickly and I don't want to run out in the middle of a fight because I need to repair after making 200 shots. I just learned the 28 slot ammo pouch and was gathering mats to make one... guess i'll srop that now.
