News and Announcements / Raiding has started back up ag...

Tuesdays and Thursdays, we will be raiding in LFR mode, til we get enough people on to start the 10-man content.

In the meantime, the gear <and strategies> we gain from doing LFRs will help us plow through the 10-man content.
As more guildies level and gear their toons, we will rotate/add our newer raiders into the mix as the numbers grow.

The first two raiding areas require an ilvl of 460 average. These progress to 470 and 480 as the minimum for all LFR content.
Along with the gear requirement, players have to complete the former raid zone to advance to the next area.

Looking forward to seeing you all on raid nights!

Thanks for all the work Ulti.

The sad part is that perhaps 12 people actually visit the site (I just made up a number lol).

Alrightly....

Last nights first migration took a bit longer than I expected. By 9pm the site was functional-ish.

After 9 I began the final transfer to a cloud base hosting.
The files and database moved fine by my management control panel had some incorrect information.

Our home path to the website had changed, but the control panel and my instructions did not.. and continued to reflect the old path.

I forced a change to my new detected path... and everything restored. I took the opportunity to update our forum theme, the buttons seem a little weird though.

Public General Discussion / Possible site downtime - FYI
Last post by Ultimus - April 15, 2013, 07:33:44 PM
Over the next 3 days I'm in the process of migrating our hosting to another server (with the same provider, just to get some of the latest and greatest features)....

This procedure will involve changing both web and database servers.

During this time everything will be automagically migrated over. However application settings will need to be updated.

During the time after migration, before I've discovered it has happened, there will be some downtime, until I adjust the site configuration.

It'll take just a minute to fix, but there will be a small chunk of downtime.

After this migration occurs, I'll be in the queue for a larger cdn based hosting migration, which will co-locate our website in a bunch of regions, and should speed everything up (not that it is slow at all)

Thats all for the technobabble, now back to your regularlly scheduled program.

I hope everyone is enjoying this new content with the release of of patch 5.2.
The rewards that come with this zone is highly rewarding as well as challenging.

Even though the vast majority of the zone is solo'able, there are still targets that require a full group <even more than 5 would be optimal>.
With the collecting of Shan'ze Ritual Stones, this gives us a chance to fell rare spawns and reap the rewards for their demise. As we continue
to collect these stones, it will give additional encounters as a guild. Let us know when you've collected the stones in groups of three and if the
opprotunity presents itself, we'll git'r'done.
