Hijinks and uncooperative comps

I borrowed a comp to post these. . .my computer no longer likes this site (dunno why). Have even tried using Mozilla. Still no go.

It had been working fine, but now. .. it loads sloooow. . .so slow it won't accept a login from me (five minutes to load???)

I've had that problem with this site both before and after the transition, except for me it happens once every other day or so...not constantly.  It will either load extremely slowly or not at all.  If I try again an hour later it's 50/50 whether it'll work or not.
