Help! Upgrading an old PC

Alright, since the purchase of a brand new PC is getting pushed further and further away over here I've started seriously considering upgrading this computer to some extent.

After cracking open the box to peek inside I found that the motherboard can actually support a bit more than it currently does.  Specifically I can upgrade the RAM from 512DDR to 2Gb DDR400 and I can put in an 8x AGP video card (right now it runs off a GeForce 4MX integrated chip).

The processor, however, is an AMD Sempron 2200 (about 1.5GHz) and I'm not about to mess around with putting a new one in.

I've found a GeForce 6200 256MB DDR 8x AGPvideo card I can get pretty cheap and the aforementioned DDR RAM. My question is this: Would it be worth it to put those in, or does the relatively low processor speed make either or both of those a waste?

I have no illusions about this heap turning into a supercomputer, but I'm hoping I can pop in those two upgrades to boost the performance a little bit and maybe open the door to a couple of other games I've been unable to play on the system as-is.

I'd appreciate it if anyone can shed some light on the dilemma.

Ah, and in case it matters, the board is an NVIDIA nForce2 IGP Chipset Based "K7N2GM2/K7N2M2 series MS-7051G (v1.X) M-ATX".

If its RAM vs. video card vs. processor...

Since all of these are kinda low for you, I'd say either the ram of the video card would be best.  It's a tough call because they both play off of each other... and your computer is only as good as the weakest component.

So while I'm not going to give you an exact answer, decide if its the RAM thats slowing you down the most, or the video card... I'm sure others can be of more help.

Well, really my main question is will my semi-low-end processor severely limit the performance of the RAM and video upgrades I posted.  If I upgrade I'll be getting both the RAM AND the vid card, not just one or the other.

Go for ram or Vid card they will make the processor seam faster.  I can get a lot more technical if needed sent me a message if you need more help or sent it to my hotmail account.  But as Aster said they feed eachother
