I knew they would beat Fla.
If Texas beats Nebraska then the tide will still win.
If Tex doesn't win then you will face an easier opponent, which will most likely be Tcu.
Grats on the national title.
Can't have Any sec team losing to some scrubs. :D

Brio

Wow, Texas almost lost.

And GA Tech pulled through in the last minutes.

Yesterday was a day for cardiac arrests across the nation!  ;)

Bama was on last night.  McElroy played like he had never played before.  Ingram did well, but so did Cody, Richardson, Maze, Woodall, Jackson, etc., etc.

Wolfin

If they pull it out.  <crosses fingers >  that will be number 13.

Roll Tide ...  :)  National Champions x 13.

It was an interesting game and great to watch.  For the bama highlights: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQRZUlV_u_k

But Texas made them work for it, even with McCoy injured in the first quarter.  Gilbert stepped up and held hard.  Not bad for a freshman quarterback.  And if he's McCoy's replacement, then Texas is going to be a force for a few years running.

Thankfully, Bama will also remain a force since we do not have many seniors going out.

Just read a very tear jerking story about Texas' 2 quarterbacks and that game.  Gratz to you folks that are into it and had your team win.

Buffing everyone because if i don't, all I hear is bitchin'  =D

Man, that Longhorn D was awsome. Too bad Colt Mcoy pussed out, or Bama might not have pulled out the win. He wasn't seriously hurt, and I even heard during the game, from the friggin commentators themselves, that they were more concerned about his longterm NLF career, hence why he did not return. That is total crap IMO. Something just doesn't seem right about that whole scenario, especially his dad going to the locker room to check on him. Watching the replay, he barely got hit, and immediately got up and walked off of the field showing no signs of being in pain.  :-\

Same feeling here, Vit.  When the announce said that little NFL tidbit, my first thought was "WTF" and then the second thought was "What the heck are your teammates going to think of you?"  But yesterday, the news was saying that it was numb and he had no feeling.  Still curious.

Gilbert did very well considering the situation.  A freshman who has been undertrained since they were focusing on McCoy this entire time, he came in flustered and easily scared.  Then he got a confidence boost and started playing exceptionally well.

Yeah, it was still a great game. I'm not trying to take anything away from Bama by saying what I did. I root for the Sec no matter who makes it to the championship. And Ingram was still a beast in the game, despite sitting out the 3rd quarter due to cramps. He deserved the Heisman.

Mel/Slap

he did not woose out.  I followed the whole story after the game te shot he took in the back of the shoulder made it so his whole arm went numb  he tried to play a simple game of catch with his dad from 7 yeards away and on 3 tries could not hit him.  thats why he did not come back and he wanted too the medical staff would not let him.  Also he may not have a nfl carreer. if he does not get it back 100%  hopefully it was just a bruised spine or bruise nerve that feeds that arm.

Could have been a blow to the supraspinatus that runs along the back of the shoulder sorta... <shrug>

It was nflitis, plain and simple.  ::)
